Hey Everybody it's Loni's Birthday!

Tody is Loni's 23rd birthday and I am trying to post something for her. It is now 10:35 and i've been up since 7:15 trying to get this to work, and i'm beginning to understand why Loni spends so much time doing this stuff.:) The other night Loni and I decided we were going to go celebrate both of our birthdays (since they are 5 days apart) and get some dinner. We were both starving so we decided that we'd hurry and quickly clean up to look presentable and go. After about an hour of waiting for Loni finish doing her hair I began to get irritable and impatient because i could feel my stomach eating itself. However, as soon as she was done and I saw how hottie she got just for me, it seemed as if the time didn't matter! It's easy to be patient when you are waiting for a beautiful princess. Things like this just remind me of how much I am in love with this girl! She's everything to me and I hope that this day is everything she wishes for and more. Love you Babe-a-doll!!!

Our Saturday Adventure

For this weeks Saturday adventure we found a beach about an hour and a half away that is supposedly the warmest Northern California beach and drove down to it. It is called Seabright Beach and it's in Santa Cruz. It was like 90 degrees! We loved it! I guess this beach is so warm because the mountains around it block the fog and wind, which is the problem with all the other beaches around where we live. One of the locals did tell us that today was abnormally warm, but still it's consistantly warmer there than what we are used to in San Fran.



We stopped and ate lunch at a little place called Betty's Burgers that was really yummy. After that we went down to the beach and played catch, walked along the water, layed out, and even did a little swimming. I didn't go in past my waist, because if I did then a shark would for sure eat me, but I did get in a little. That was a big step for me.
P.S. Soon after this picture, a big wave came in and swept Danny's favorite sunglasses away into the depths of the ocean. We had a moment of silence for them, Danny was really sad.



So I am 30 weeks prego now, and it is showing for sure. I'm getting pretty anxious for this baby to come. My body is starting to ache and I'm tired a lot, so I am excited for this stage of things to be over with. Someone the other day reminded me that it is much easier to take care of him right now than when he is born, so thinking about that makes waiting 10 more weeks a bit easier.



I love our Saturday adventures. We have lots of fun discovering new cool places around where we live. I think that this beach is going to be a place we go back to quite often.

Happy Birthday Danny!

Yesterday was Danny's birthday, he turned 28! It was a really fun day, other than the fact that he had school until 5:00. This is him with his long awaited fruit tart! I wish i could say I made it for him, but I didn't. Every time we go to Safeway he tries to convince me to buy the huge fruit tart they bake in the bakery there, and I alway say, "for your birthday". Well, he finally got it! He was so happy!



Danny's family has a cake that they make all the time for birthdays and I made it for him this year. It's a 3 layer Angel Food Cake with a whipped cream, chocolate pudding and Heath Bar frosting. I was nervous making it, but it was actually pretty yummy.



When we were in Utah over break Danny made himself a longboard, and for his birthday I got him the trucks and wheels for it. The thing is though, he has had it for a week and a half but couldn't ride it until his birthday. It was so cute how excited he was to finally be able to ride it. I think it's kinda funny that for his 28th birthday he wanted a skateboard... he's such a kid at heart.



At night we had a bunch of friends over for cake and ice-cream. It was interresting trying to fit like 30 people into our little apartment, but it was fun. So many girls are pregnant out here, there is probably over ten that are. It would be funny to get a picture with everyone that is, but the four of us in this picture are all due within like a month and a half of each other.



I am so grateful for Danny and how wonderful he is. I have the best husband in the world! I don't know anyone else who would be able to put up with me (especially pregnant me) with as much love and caring as Danny does. I am so glad that we are sealed forever and we get to spend the rest of eternity together. I hope you had a happy birthday babe, I love you!

White Coat Ceramony

Introducing Dr. Danny Theurer!! I am so proud of Danny. He will be known from now on as Dr. Theurer and will be able to work on patients! Craig and Carol came out to San Fran for the ceramony. It was fun having them here.

What are the Chances??

Our last day in Utah we decided to get together with my brothers to hang out before we went home. When my younger brother DJ (on the left) showed up wearing camo and black just like me we thought it was funny, but when my older brother Matt (on the right) showed up wearing the same thing we just had to take a cheesy picture.

Getting Close to the End

About a week ago we realized that our time in Utah was getting close to ending, so we have been staying really busy making sure that we do everything we wanted to do while we were here. My younger brother has been on this kick lately where he loves fishing. He goes a few times a week, so we went with him last weekend with his wife Ashley and my sister Lacey to enjoy some quiet time in the mountains. We got up at 4:30 in the morning to make sure we would catch a lot, but our luck wasn't so good. I caught one about 5 min after my first cast, but as you can see in the picture below, he wasn't big enough to keep. Danny caught one big enough to keep though. It was really fun, thanks for taking us D.J.!

Mine was just a little guy. It was so gross touching that slimy thing. Danny made me do it for the picture though. YUCK!



My sister in law's threw me a baby shower on Tuesday. It was fun seeing everyone, hanging out and eating some yummy food. After the shower we went bowling with our friend Erin. We know her from San Francisco, but now she lives in Utah so we were excited to see her. I'm not the bowler I used to be now that I am prego, but Danny and her had quite the competition going. We had so much fun!


HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!

Then on the 4th of July, 10 of us went to Raging Waters. We had a blast! These are some of our friends who came. I don't quite fit in with our meat-head friends right now.


Matt, Shari, Brooklyn, Lindsey and Lacey came too. I didn't get a picture with all of us together, but I thought this one was pretty cute. How precious. :)

Danny took this picture of me, then when we looked at it, we realized it was pretty funny with my big belly sticking out the second hole totally unplanned.



We went to Sugarhouse Park to see the fireworks with Matt, Shari, Brooklyn, Shari's brother Cody and his wife. I loved that we didn't have to wear a coat like we do in San Fran.




We had this old man take a picture of all of us and it was so funny. He was totally thrown off by the digital camera. Sorry it's blurry, but it's the best one he took.

A Busy Day

We did a lot today and it sure was fun. We got an early start and went up to Jordanelle Reservoir with Dave and Mindi Gordon, and their two girls to go boating. We know the Gordons from San Francisco so it was fun to spend time with them here in Utah. Danny and Dave had the ride time all to themselves since Mindi and I are both pregnant. It was so nice being out in the sun and crusing around in the boat.

These are Dave and Mindi's girls, Alli and Ana. They became our little buddies since they lived in the apartment right next to us this last year of school.

Then, after boating, we went to our nephew William's 1st birthday party at Danny's parents house. This is our only neice on the Theurer side, Ellie, (well for now until little Emily is born in Sept.), and two of our nephews Luke and William. Luke is the one sitting on the ground and William is on my lap. We loved our party hats!

Luke is so cute. He is so crazy and never slows down. I think our little boy is going to be a lot like him.

Danny and his Grandpa Hank are really close. We love him so much and not only do we love him, but everyone who knows him does too. He was an O.B. in Salt Lake for a long time so a lot of people know who he is or have been patients of his. We have a friend whose mom claims that Hank saved her life so many times. People are always asking us if we know Dr. Hank Theurer when they find out our last name, and then they go off on how great of a person he is. I love that I married into a family that everyone respects and loves so much. They are all a great example to me and give me much to live up to.

More Summer Pictures

Yesterday while we were swimming, Danny helped the kids make a slip-n-slide out of pool mats. It was really funny to watch. Danny could have done this all day!

We got to go puppy shopping with my younger brother and his wife this week. This is Tobey! As you can see, Danny is very excited. :)

Sunset Golfing

One thing that almost every guy in the Theurer Family loves to do is golf. Danny's dad wanted to hit a few balls before he played in a tournament last Saturday, so he took us with him to the driving range and we had a great time. I tried hitting a few but my belly got in the way (I'll use that as my excuse for being a horrible golfer). Danny loved it though and it was fun spending time with Craig. The sunset wasn't too bad either.

It's been a while since my last post. Between being so crazy busy trying to see everyone out here and losing the camera for a few days, it took me a while to get an update posted.

One of the main things we wanted to do in Utah during summer break was spend lots of time by the pool. We have loved getting some sun on our white San Francisco skin. We have swam almost every day with either friends, family, or both. I am sure there will be more swimming pictures to come, but here are some so far.
