Jaxson's Baby Blessing (beware...lots of pictures)

We were able to go to Utah this last week for Thanksgiving and to bless Jaxson. It was so nice being there. Danny did an amazing job blessing Jaxson, it was so so sweet. After the blessing we went to Danny's parents house for some yummy food and to visit for a while.



My whole family was there so we took a family picture. My mom has wanted one for so long but it has been so difficult to get everyone together. My sister in law Ashely is pregnant and due in one week, so we will need a new one soon so baby Kash will be in it too.

Random Moments of Happiness

We are having so much fun with Jaxson. He is smiling now and brings so much joy into our lives. Here are some pictures we have taken lately.

Every time we change him he smiles and laughs. One time Danny was changing Jaxson's diaper and I went in the room to find Danny laughing and Jaxson like this... It was funny.



All the wet spots behind him are spit-up marks. We go through SO many burp rags, blankets, and outfits every day, which sadly means TONS of laundry!!

Kinda Cool

This is the 3D ultrasound picture we got of Jaxson at 18 weeks. When we got this picture I was saying how sweet he looked and how I hope he really is sweet and snuggly like this when he is born...


How funny is that?! He really sleeps like this all the time. I'm glad he really is so sweet and snuggly like I hoped for.

First Time at the Beach

Our friend Nadine's birthday was yesterday, so for her birthday we got some sandwiches from the Safeway deli and went down to Baker Beach to have a picnic. It was such a nice warm day and it was Jaxson's first time to the beach. Even though he slept the whole time, I think he liked it.






Jax is just like his mommy. He loved being sprawled out in the warm sun.


All stretched out...He wanted an even tan.

Happy Halloween!!

We love our little devil. We bought him this before he was born and it ends up he is actually quite the opposite. It was fun having an excuse to do kid stuff again on Halloween. It was our first holiday with a baby and we loved it.

Danny's pumpkin


A bunch of the girls got together to go trick-or-treating on Chestnut street. It is so fun. Chestnut is this really cool street that has tons of stores and restaurants. All the stores decorate and the employees dress up and pass out candy. There are people that walk around handing out balloons to all the kids and hundreds of people all walk up and down the street trick-or-treating to all the stores. I couldn't believe how many people were there.

Tagged

I was tagged by my cousin Holly, so I will do my best to think of six things people may not know about me. I'm a pretty open person though so it may be tough to think of that many.


#1) I am allergic to two things, grass and generic brands of laundry detergent. Pretty random I think. I can only use Tide or I break out in hives and swell up like a balloon. It is not a pretty sight.

#2) I'm extremely afraid of the dark. This has been the case since I was really little. It's so bad that when I wake up to go to the bathroom at night I can't get myself to flush the toilet for fear that someone will sneak up on me and I won't be able to hear them coming. I also have to sleep on the side of the bed that is farthest away from the door. And, if I am the one to turn the lights off before going to bed, I will jump into the bed so that no one can reach out from under the bed and grab me.

#3) I am the only one in my family that isn't certified in scuba diving. The reason for that is I know that the second I go into the ocean I will be eaten by a shark. I hate sharks...

#4) I don't like chocolate. There are a few exceptions (like Milk Duds or 100 Grand...yummy) but for the most part, I just can't do it. If I am going to have sweets I would much rather have some type of gummy candy.

#5) I have never gotten a ticket (other than 2 parking tickets which don't really count) or been in an accident...knock on wood. This is kind of bragging, but I am pretty proud of myself.

#6) I played the saxophone in Jr. High. Oh yeah, total band geek. I was even my section leader and only girl good enough to be in the the Jazz Band. Should I be admitting this??
