Monster Jam!!

For Christmas Jaxson got some little monster trucks and they came with a DVD of the Monster Jam trucks. It is his favorite movie, and it drives me NUTS! However, when I found out that Monster Jam was coming to Utah, I knew we just had to take him.



It was the cutest thing ever. We could hardly even take a picture of him because he was so fixated on the trucks.

Jaxson's second love is motorcycles so when a few guys came out and started jumping, our little man was in heaven!

When does the awkward smile phase end?

Craig was in town and my sister came along too.

If the trucks, motorcycles, and rally cars weren't enough, there was some fantastic people watching!

San Antonio

The annual Crown Council event was held in San Antonio, TX this year. It was such a great weekend! We had fun, learned a TON, and I got to know the office staff better.

We ate at the best Mexican food restaurant for breakfast one morning...

and it makes it even better they had a huge bakery! I'm drooling just thinking about all the pastries.



We got to go to the Alamo, but we didn't get to see the basement :) name the movie...


Our first day there we went on the Riverwalk boat tour even though it was raining. I am SO glad we toughed out the rain because it was sunny the rest of the days of the trip so the boat tour line was HUGE!

Walking around in the mall we found a boot and cowboy hat store. These boots were $3,000!

We got to listen to some of the most AMAZING speakers. This is Andy Andrews. He wrote The Time Travelers Gift. I would highly recommend reading it if you haven't. It will change your life, seriously.

Another speaker taught us how to break boards with out bare hands!

We had a Black Tie dinner and Danny received his 1st year Crown Council award.

Jared, Danny's brother, got the Young Dentist of the Year award.

We went out one night to this place that was kind of like Dueling Piano's. It was SO fun!

I loved getting to know all the girls from the office a little better.

We had fun walking around the Riverwalk at 2:00 am.

Both Danny and I got spring fever sitting by the pool in the warm sun on our lunch breaks.

The last speaker was AMAZING. His name is Nick Vujicic, he was born without arms and legs. He really put life into perspective and it was really motivating listening to him and the things he has overcome.

We got these t-shirts for signing up for next years event, and we can't wait! I hope I can use all the things I learned to become a better person.

Jaxson LOVES puzzles and is really great at them. However I was cleaning up the other day and he had put this one together this way. I don't know why, but I thought it was just so cute. He probably didn't care if the numbers were in the wrong order, he just wanted the pieces to fit. I love my cute guy.
