What a Week

It has been quite a week at the Theurer house. We have gone from all of us being sick and many sleepless nights (which mean lazy days trying to catch up on sleep)...


...now to this (click on pic to get a better look). Apparently some kids get hives when recovering from a virus. It has been one of those weeks you want to throw your arms in the air and give up if you could. But we obviously can't, we just have to work through it. And the only thing that has gotten me through this week...

...is this amazing man. I don't know what I would do without him. He has been pulling double duty. Student during the day, and Mr. Mom at night. The part I don't understand is he has done it all with a smile on his face. He is my hero.

Remember when you were little and you looked up at the christmas tree and you thought it was the coolest, brightest, biggest christmas tree you have ever seen? I got to see my little guy stare up at the tree for the first time (that he remembers) with that same look on his face a little while ago. I know I'm always going on and on about how much I love being a mom and watching Jaxson learn and grow, but it is seriously the best! I love watching how excited he gets at every new thing he see's. He will aways point his little finger and in his cute low voice say, "oh wow" over and over followed by a quick whisper saying, "what's that?!".


Having a kid sure adds to the magic of the season!

The Game

I can't describe the disappointment I saw in Danny's face when he found out that the Utah vs. BYU game was only broadcast on The Mountain, a channel that no one around here has. He started making some calls to find out how he could possibly watch the much anticipated game. Luckily, some of our friends were planning on driving an hour and a half away to watch it at their parents house, so we tagged along.

Danny was really excited to watch the game (or he was about to eat Jaxson's entire face, I'm not quite sure which).

The house was beautiful and so was the view. Note the U of U pride. :)
