Memorial Day Weekend

Matt, Shari, and Brooklyn came to visit us this weekend! It was tons of fun. We were able to do lots of stuff like visit Fishermans Warf where we saw "The Bush Man" and had fresh steamed crab, see the Palace of Fine Arts, go to the downtown Cheesecake Factory on top of the Macy's Building, play at the beach, have a little all you can eat Sushi, and lots of other fun stuff. We had a great time and wish they could have been here longer!

21 Week Belly

I am 5 months and 1 week and still not looking too pregnant. I'll get there soon though. I guess I should just enjoy it while it lasts.

Our Sunbeam Class

For the last six months or so Danny and I have been the Sunbeam teachers in our ward. It has been quite the learning experience. A class of Eight 3-4 year old boys doesn't always run perfectly smooth, but we sure try. Today our lesson was "I am thankful for my ears". We have a lot of fun with these boys. Since the school year is almost over, most of them are going to be moving. We will miss them and their crazy personalities.

A Whole New Experience

This last weekend Danny and I went back to Utah for DJ and Ashley's wedding. First, let me start off by saying that we forgot to take any pictures. We had our camera, we just flat out forgot. So, yes, these are pictures of pictures. I guess it's better than nothing though. The wedding was so fun. I am so happy that they got married, and am so excited to have Ashley officially a part of our family after all these years. It was a perfect day for an outside wedding and my parents really did an awesome job fixing up the yard to look absolutely beautiful.


Amy came and I finally got to meet her fiance Matt. They are getting married in July and I am so stinkin' excited for her!


I really wish that I had a better picture than this, but oh well. When we all gathered together to take this picture the camera man said something to the effect of "uh oh..." He could tell we were quite the rowdy group. I love my family!

Palace of Fine Arts

There are so many cool places to see in this city that Danny and I decided we are going to go somewhere new every week. This week we went to the Palace of Fine Arts. We didn't get to go in the Exploratorium museum that is right there, but we will sometime. I can't believe that we have lived here for this long and haven't ever been to this place. It is in the Presidio right by my work, but we just haven't ever gone. We have really been missing out. It was beautiful.

First Year BBQ at Baker Beach

Today we went down to the beach and had a BBQ with a bunch of the other first year dental students. It is so awesome to live within walking distance to the beach, and it was the perfect day to go. We grilled up hamburgers and hot dogs and hung out for the afternoon. It was fun watching Danny play football and learn how to skim board. I stayed away from the water because it was freezing, but Danny had a great time in the ocean.

Even though it was a beautiful day, San Francisco beaches aren't like normal California beaches. It get's a little chilly when the wind picks up. No swim suit for me!

Danny went skim boarding for the first time today. The first few times didn't end up so good...
