I Can't Believe I am Saying This...

...But I can't get over how much I love my denim leggings. So great with boots or heels. Thank you Julie for introducing me to them. I got mine at Urban Blues for only $34.99. Can't beat that!

Congrats Craig!

This last weekend we took a crazy whirl-wind trip to San Francisco. We left Utah at 6:00 PM,
drove ALL NIGHT LONG to arrive in SF at about 3:00 CA time...yeah, that means we did it in about 10 hours! Driving is much faster at night and without a kid!


We got to sleep for a few hours, then woke up to go through the temple with our good friend Craig. We have been able to be a part of the last year in him becoming active in the church. It was so cool to go through the temple with him and Danny got to be his escort.

It was so cool to have so many people come from all over to be with Craig. Danny and I came from Utah, Dave Stubbs came from Chicago, Brett Williams came from Canada, one of Craig's room mates came from Monterrey, and Trisha lives in San Fran. These boys had so much fun...probably too much fun.

After the temple we went to a VERY authentic Mexican food place. Then the Warf, then to a movie.

Trisha's loft had an AMAZING view. Saturday morning while I was getting ready I could hear all the boys being really loud obviously up to something, and i found them trying to spit on pigeons off her balcony. You'd never believe they were all doctors.

After being in the city for only just over 24 hours, we headed home. Not without a quick stop at All Star 24 hour doughnuts though. It was super crazy, and I can't believe we did it, but we had a great, fun, SUPER quick trip. Sory we didn't visit ANYONE while we were there, i wish we would have had time!

Roller Skating!!

For FHE this week we went roller skating. It was a BLAST! Jaxson picked it up right away, then add the music and this dancin' fool was in heaven! (The above pic is Jax and Danny showing off their cool skates, I thought i should specify since Jaxson just looks as if he is falling and his legs are broken.)

After about 5 minutes of holding our hands to find his balance, he just wanted to do it "my do it ". He was even trying to jump off the little ledge of the carpet onto the skating floor by the end of the night. His dare devil Bailey blood is shining through already, we're in trouble!

If he wasn't skating by himself he wanted daddy to do tricks with him. I am pretty sure he smiled the whole 2 hours we were there nonstop.

4 Year Anniversary

Our 4 year anniversary was on January 7. I can't believe it has been 4 years! To celebrate we totally took advantage of our friends, the Shaw's :), and stayed in their house in St. George for a long weekend. We spent a good chunk of our time in Zions. It was so beautiful!



There were SO many deer, these two were having a little brawl. It was pretty cool.



The first day it was getting late so we just did the scenic drive and stopped at the turn around spot to take some pictures.

We had intentions of going on a little hike, but it was SO cold!

So instead Danny pretended to be a.... bear??????

I wish pictures did places justice, it was so pretty. Especially with the snow accenting the red rock.

On the way into Zion's there was a random stinkin' ostrich farm! I couldn't believe it! I made Danny promise me we would stop and see them on the way home.

YAY!!! They even had a place you could get a little bag of food and feed the Ostriches! How random and fun is that?! For sure a highlight of the trip for me.

Little Loni fact, I was bitten by an Emu when I was like 10. Because of that I was a little hesitant to feed an ostrich which is like an Emu on steroids. So I just ended up throwing all the food on the ground, which was what the signs said to do anyway.

On our second day in Zion's we went on a little hike to the top of the Great Arch.

I love how goofy we are together, especially when we are kid free and can just relax. Man, I love this guy!

I wanted to go climb the other side, maybe another time and wearing more appropriate clothing...like a rock climbing harness.

There was also this cute little ghost town. Random picture just kinda thrown in here.

I am so happy to be married to Danny. The last 4 years have brought so much joy to my life. I don't know what I would do without you babe. Here's to and eternity more!

New Years Eve and Day

My friend Shelby and I threw a little New Years Eve party at her house this year. It was SO fun! We had an awesome dinner with the best ribs EVER.


Then hung out and played games. I am sad we didn't get a picture before some of the people left.(also, I don't know why Danny is touching Greg's leg like that, gross)

We rang in the New Year with lots of poppers, banging pots and pans, and taking lots of pictures I know we will regret taking later.

NEW YEARS DAY

We went sledding again on New Years Day and had a BLAST! I can't even tell you how many posed cute-sie pictures we have of Jaxson and Ella in hopes that they can go in their wedding video someday...we'll see...Greg and Shelby met when they were kids! It can happen!

I was about to go down with just Jax, and Ella didn't want Jaxson to leave her, so we all saddled up and did our best to all stay on until the bottom of the hill.

Jaxson saw the big kids going on their tummy's and just had to try it too. Not so sure how he liked it.

Then he wanted to go by himself, or "my do it" a phrase we hear 134,672 times a day. Not only did he want to go by himself, but he wanted to lay down and look at the clouds. Whatever son.

we had a snowball contest, but once they got to a certain point, they were way to heavy to continue pushing.

AWWW..... what would we do without these two....

Somehow the snowballs evolved into this...it was pretty awesome!

Then back to the Armstrongs to warm up with hot cocoa, orange slices, and pizza. Mmmm...
