I think it's so cute how the littlest things make this little guy so happy.

Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend is so bittersweet. I LOVE the Fall, but I am so sad to see summer coming to a close. We had a really great Labor Day weekend this year though! We were invited by some friends to go to the Bee's game on Saturday and it was a blast!

Jaxson loves baseball and was in heaven watching it live and in person.

On Monday Jaxson had his first Slurpee! I can't believe I haven't ever thought to get him one, since ice is one of his favorite things to eat.

Then we headed over to the Theurer's for some pizza and swimming!

and Jax had fun on our little home-made slip 'n' slide.

This little kid could swim ALL day if we let him.

At the end of the day, after hours of swimming we all had some pretty good "raisin toes". It's weird thinking that the next holiday is Halloween. Where has the year gone?!

Growing Up

At 10:00 Friday night we realized it might be a good idea to switch Jaxson's crib to the toddler bed stage before my surgery so I didn't have to worry about lifting him in and out of bed.

We switched his bed over, had a quick talk about how he needs to stay in his bed until mommy or daddy gets him up, and put him to bed for the night. He did perfect. He has continued to sleep his amazing schedule (9:00 pm - 10:00 am) and continued to take his 2-3 hr. naps without any escape attempts, and waits in his bed for us to get him when he wakes up (knock on wood).

I really think that we don't give him enough credit for how big he is getting since he's our first. He is officially not a baby anymore!

SUPER Loni!

Since June 14th I have been an anxiety filled, tired, stress case trying to deal with the new title of being a dentist. Because of this I have neglected to remember what an awesome family I have. The reason I am so blessed is due to 1 person... my beautiful wife. Many of you know that Loni has been dealing with a bum shoulder/ arm for a while now and will have to have surgery soon to fix it, yet she still manages to wake up in the morning with Jax and find something fun to do with him every day. She also puts up with me working late hours, and has dinner ready for me when I get home, even when it's 9 pm sometimes. She in incredible! She has to fight through pain to do her hair because she wants me to see her looking her best, she keeps a house clean with a 2 yr old who never quits making disasters, and she puts forth an effort to make me know I am loved. This is astonishing to me and I can't believe she does so much everyday for Jax and I. She is a strong willed hottie and I love her to death. Thank you honey for being who you and doing so much for Jax and myself. We love you!! (she isn't giong to like this picture but it tells a lot about her. This was during a 5 mile round trip hike to some gyser in Yellowstone. When Jax got tired of walking I would carry him on my shoulders and when all 37 or so lbs got heavy Loni would carry him with 1 arm because her other shoulder can't do it, and even though it was not easy she smiled the whole way because she loves her boys, and we couldn't have asked for a better SUPER mom! xoxo

We were so lucky to be able to go boating with our friends last weekend at Jordanelle. We had the greatest time and Jax loved being the center of attention. This is Jax with Chris aka "Uncle Doug".

Jaxson also LOVES Melissa! Thanks for toughing it out being pregnant and sick so we could have fun Mel!

Jax went on his first tube ride. At the first of the ride we kept saying, "Jaxson are you having fun?" and he would reply with a very shaky, "No". By the end of the ride it changed to, "YEAH FUN! We go boating!!".



These boys were CRAZY!



Danny made the funniest faces the whole time. It was almost more entertaining watching Danny's face than when they would actually get thrown off.

Jaxson was so amazing on the boat, he spent the first half eating treats and dancing like crazy to the loud music. Then, he calmed down and just chilled with his blankie and watched all the people ride.

The Bailey Clan

A few weeks ago we actually got all the Bailey's together before Matt and Shari moved to NY to have a little party for them. We got a few pictures taken to remember the night.
